Grade 5 Grandparent's Breakfasts at both Bialik Campuses

Danna spent 2 consecutive days in Toronto, Ontario presenting to grade 5 students and their grandparents.

It’s been a busy couple of days for Margaret’s Legacy, as Danna was fortunate to visit both Bialik campuses to present at the grade 5 grandparent breakfasts. After screening “Margaret & Arthur’s Story” feature film, and sharing inspirational words with the grade 5s and their grandparents, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. Danna felt privileged to share such meaningful moments with many survivors including a few from Hungary, where Margaret & Arthur grew up. The grandparents had lots of questions during the Q&A. They felt a connection with Danna and with each other, and this bonding experience was rich with emotion.

Most of the students were a bit shy, since it was a big crowd, so Danna shared her e-mail address with the teachers so students could send her any follow up questions they may have. It was a very heartwarming experience.
