Journeys Curriculum to be Launched at National Policy Conference on Holocaust Education

Margaret's Legacy has officially partnered with the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre, who will be facilitating the Holocaust Education engagements for Margaret's Legacy for schools in the Greater Toronto & Hamilton area. With the launch of a new Holocaust curriculum, this is a very exciting new stage for Margaret's Legacy. The initiative will be launched at the 2019 National Policy Conference on Holocaust Education for educators across North America.
Saturday, January 26th
Opening Conference Dinner to include a recognition ceremony of member school boards of FSWC’s January 27th Initiative and the launch of new, very special Holocaust curriculum developed by Margaret’s Legacy.
Sunday, January 27th
The main conference will include a panel discussion by both educators (including Margaret's Legacy's Dennis Nash) about best practices and a multi-generational panel (including Tom Weisz & Danna Horwood) to discuss the long-term impact of the Holocaust, along with keynote speakers who are leading Holocaust education researchers.
