The establishment of Margaret's Legacy was only possible through the generous support of the Margaret & Arthur Weisz Family Foundation.

Now Margaret's Legacy is establishing its own endowment fund through the Hamilton Jewish Federation that will allow us to continue to help support Holocaust education in Hamilton and across the globe.

​

The Hamilton Jewish Federation and Margaret's Legacy have a shared commitment and vision in providing the highest quality Holocaust & Citizenship education and programming. Together, we hope to empower a new generation of leaders that are educated, culturally sensitive, and motivated to effect change.

• Continued research and development of Margaret's Legacy resources and curriculum geared toward youth (Global)

• The ability to continue subsidizing programs & speakers in schools in the GTHA and charge nominally for engagements across North America. 

• Community human rights and tolerance outreach (Global)

• Needs-based scholarships for March of the Living (Hamilton)

• Education lead-in and follow-up for March of the Living (Hamilton)

• Educational components of the Asper Foundation Human Rights and Holocaust Studies Program (Canada)

• Innovative professional development for educators on related topics
